Event 1
Event 1 is 1 enclosure. Its need about 3.5m x 3.5m space to set up.
Around the edge of the enclosure there are small pens. In the small pens are rabbits, guinea pigs and chicks. Children can reach over and pat them and feed them but not pick them up. If children are too little to reach, we will pick them animals up for them to see. In the big area in the middle there will be chickens, ducks and sheep or goats. You can pat and feed all of these. We bring all the food with us. If it’s not too busy, we bring out chairs for the children to sit and hold the animals. This set up is good when there is a small steady flow of people. We find it works well for childcare centre open days and work events.
Up to about 10-12 people can be accommodated at one time.

Event 2
Event 2 is 2 enclosures. Its need about 7.0 x 3.5m space to set up.
Enclosure 1 is set up like Event 1, with the small animals in small pens around the edge. This time however, there are no animals roaming in the middle space.
Enclosure 2 has the chickens, ducks’ goats or sheep (sometimes both) free roaming for patting and feeding. We bring the food for them to eat with us.
Having the 2 enclosure means there is room for more people at a time. Up to 20 people can be accommodated at one time, spread between the two enclosures.
